This Privacy Policy applies to Mint DJ & Event Group (“Mint,” “we,” “us”), a business of Mint DJ Events LLC, and covers our website at mintdjevents.com, our client planning portal, our online booking and inquiry forms, and the emails and text messages we send. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described here. Our Terms of Service also apply.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you send an inquiry, book a call, sign a contract, pay an invoice or plan your event with us, we collect details such as:

Your name, email address, mobile phone number and mailing address
Event details, such as the date, venue, guest count, timeline, music requests and planning notes
Billing details needed to process payments (card and bank details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us)
Messages you send us by email, text or through our planning portal

Information collected automatically. Our web host records standard technical data, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site running and secure. Our website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

2. How we use your information

To respond to your inquiry and send quotes and proposals
To provide our services, including planning, scheduling, contracts, invoices and event-day coordination
To send transactional emails and text messages about your inquiry, booking and event (see section 5)
To process payments and keep business and tax records
To improve our website and services
To send occasional email updates if you have asked to receive them (you can unsubscribe at any time)

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business:

Service providers that help us operate, such as our website host, our client management and planning software, our payment processors, and our email and text message delivery providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
Your event team, such as your assigned DJ and the staff working your event, who need your event details to do their job.
Legal requirements, when required by law or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.

4. Cookies

Our website uses only the cookies needed for it to work. We do not use advertising cookies or sell browsing data. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as expected.

5. Text messaging (SMS) and mobile information

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, for example by checking the SMS consent box on our inquiry form, booking a call online, or texting us first, we will send you messages about your inquiry, booking and event. These include replies to your questions, booking confirmations, appointment and event reminders, planning and payment reminders, and schedule updates. Message frequency varies. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other categories in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of booking or purchasing any service.

6. How long we keep information

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services, meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

7. Your choices and rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you.
You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP, and out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link.
You may ask us to stop using your information for any purpose that is not needed to provide a service you booked.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
